Event Details
Learn about the more than 100 individuals who labored at the iron furnace and in the surrounding community from the 1770's to 1840's. We will travel approximately a mile round trip on an ADA-style path, while a park ranger interprets the history of this village and its impact on Frederick County. Meet at the Catoctin Furnace parking lot and dress warmly.
