Calling all young writer's ages 12-17! We're inviting Teens to practice the craft of writing, share their work, and enjoy the wonderful world of writing. Stop by for activities and discussion with other teen writers.

Put on your detective hats and dive into the realm of fairy tale forensics with Crime Scene Investigator, Shelby Britton from Frederick City Police.

Make your own charm or keychain using beads, colorful cords, and creativity. Whether you hang it on your backpack, keys, or zipper, it’s a fun way to show off your personal style.

UNPLUGGED is a midweek mindfulness program for teens and tweens. It features low lighting, soft noise, and sensory tools. Each program features a different mindful activity to promote mental wellbeing.

Join Middletown's Teen Leadership Council. Tweens and teens, grades 6 through 12, meet to collaborate with each other and teen librarians on upcoming library events and to participate in teen-led projects.

Experience the benefits of guided meditation with one of the masters of mindfulness, a therapy dog! Therapy dogs are provided by Wags for Hope volunteers, whose pets bring comfort and joy to the lives of others. Ideal for ages 9-18. 

Spend the first Thursday of the month with a game of chess! Open to all levels of chess players, bring your own chess set or use one of ours. Bring your friends and meet other chess enthusiasts. Ages 9-18. 

Express yourself through writing and media arts as part of our Teen Zine Series. Zines are small self-published magazines that are filled with art of all kinds.
