Kri “Lalita” Wiant is a professional belly dance artist and instructor. She began studying ballet at age two and went on to train in a variety of dance styles, including tap, lyrical, jazz, modern, African, Salsa, and danse du ventre, and burlesque.
Lalita was awarded the honor of First Place Rising Star at the Northeast Bellydance Competition in 2009. In 2011, Lalita won the Headliner of the Year award at the Belly Off in the 'Burgh live band competition with Ishtar, and in 2012 she returned and won the coveted Entertainer of the Year crown!
Since then, she has shared her passion for this beautiful art form by teaching students of all levels and performing at weddings, restaurants, luxury events, and festivals.
