Bernard Franklin, PhD., Vice President of Student Affairs at Mount St. Mary's University will discuss how a young man and a young family got involved in one of the greatest freedom movements America has ever witnessed. Dr. Franklin shares personal stories and discusses the impact and struggle the King family endured to raise awareness around civil rights and freedom for African Americans.
