Storyteller Fanny Crawford shares the life of her great-grandfather, T.H. Barnes, including his childhood memories, anecdotes of his mother’s family of hardy Pennsylvania farmers, both Black and white, and the story of his father who escaped enslavement in Hagerstown, circa 1835.
