Thurmont Green Fest: Creating an Emergency Plan

From hurricanes to heat waves, from civil unrest to war, it seems there is a new threat in the news every week. Do not wait until disaster strikes to develop a plan to protect you and your family. Start planning and preparing for what worries you.

The Creating an Emergency Plan class will explain why every individual and family should have an emergency plan and what that plan should include. A wide variety of topics will be covered including crucial supplies (food, water, medical, respirators, shelter, and more), rendezvous points, transportation concerns, communication methods, personal safety, and special considerations. Attendees receive a worksheet with a supply list.
