Elementary Explorers is a weekly after-school program that connects children in Grades K-5 to fun, hands-on experiences. Join other curious kids as we explore a different topic each week!
This week: Food Fun with Farm to School Frederick! Learn about how food gets to our plates, eating the rainbow, and the variety of produce that is grown by Frederick farmers each season. We'll get our hands on real plants with roots and leaves intact, practice identifying the parts of a plant, and see how food arrives at our tables. Geared for Grades K-5.
