Elementary Explorers is a weekly after-school program that connects children in Grades K-5 to fun, hands-on experiences. Join other curious kids as we explore a different topic each week!
This week: Food Fun with Farm to School Frederick! Celebrate Farm to School month with a special visit from Gwen Whitmore, co-owner of Glade Link Farms in Keymar. In spring and summer Glade Link Farms offers pick your own berries, and after specializes in a variety of fall produce. This program will highlight pumpkins, how pumpkins grow, their nutritional information, and a fun game of Pumpkin trivia! Geared for Grades K-5.
