Floriography: The Language of Flowers

Come join us and learn more about the history of using flowers to convey messages. Master Gardener Courtney Ward will describe the history of floriography and how its popularity rose during the Regency Period of Jane Austen’s time and boomed in the Victorian Era. She will include examples of flowers and their meanings. Attendees will then make a mini bouquet using silk flowers to convey a specific message.
