Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Celebrate the 275th Anniversary of Frederick County, and the rich culture the Deaf Community has cultivated in arts and literature at this ASL Immersive event. ASL is the language of instruction for this special Books Alive!, which offers signing children and families the chance to experience activities related to some of their favorite books. Books Alive! encourages creativity, problem solving, language development, and planning and includes opportunities for creative play, arts integration, literacy, family bonding, and fun. Program is sponsored by funding from Maryland Deaf Culture Digital Library.
