Holiday Closing - Thanksgiving

Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

Frederick County Public Libraries is turning 60 and we are celebrating with a birthday party for the ages! We will kick things off with a special storytime, followed by activities for all ages, including crafts, a selfie station, and an opportunity to record your birthday memories. We'll wrap up the celebration with a cookie decorating workshop led by Bekah Ontiveros, owner of The Hive Cake Shop. Join us for family-fun, activities, and sign up for the best birthday card ever - a library card!

10:30 am--Birthday Storytime (for kids ages 0-5)

11:00 am -1:00 pm--Birthday activities for all ages

1:00 pm--Sugar Cookie Decorating Workshop with Bekah from The Hive Cake Shop (for adults and teens age 12 and up)
