Maryland had a precarious position at the time of the Civil War. While staying true to the Union, Maryland also provided the Confederacy with Admirals, as much of the Eastern Shore was pro-Confederate. Jonathan Beasley will present on this topic and will also be available to answer questions about the current exhibit cases in the C. Burr Artz library.
