Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

Come visit the Walkersville Branch Library as part of Museums by Candlelight and Frederick County's 275th Anniversary celebration. We are featuring a special, festive holiday foyer display created by the Pleasant Walk Homemakers Club. This organization was formed by combining the Mount Pleasant Homemakers Club and the Walkersville Homemakers Club. The Walkersville Homemakers Club was the oldest homemakers club in Frederick County, that originally formed over 100 years ago.
