With reported decreases in individual giving and the recent influx of federal grant opportunities (i.e., American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)), many nonprofits are looking to add government grants as a funding source.

Before jumping into government grants, join Michelle Nusum-Smith, owner and Principal Consultant at The Word Woman LLC, for a 2-hour interactive workshop designed to help you determine if you should be applying for government grants, how government grants are different from foundation grants, where to find local and state government grant opportunities, an interactive review of a government grant RFP (request for proposals), and how to prepare a competitive local or state government grant proposal.

Nonprofit staff, executive directors, board members, and volunteers whose roles include supporting fundraising are encouraged to attend.

Mark your calendar and join Michelle again on Friday, October 13th for an interactive workshop on federal grants.
