Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Looking for ways to get your child active and maybe give back to the community? Come meet and greet Glade Valley Athletic Association coaches and volunteers to learn more about our programming. Our association serves the families in our Walkersville feeder schools. We currently offer options for youth athletes age 5 - 18 across 10 sports. We will have coaches and volunteers on hand to answer questions and help you register for the upcoming spring sports season. We are 100% volunteer run and always looking for new coaches and helpers.
