Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

Today we look at antique coverlets as beautiful works of art, but these handwoven bedcoverings were practical and prized textiles in early 18th century homes. This presentation will introduce the audience to antique coverlets and tell the stories of several coverlet weavers who worked in north central Maryland.
