Handwoven in the Old Line State: North Central Maryland Coverlet Weavers and Their Work

Today we look at antique coverlets as beautiful works of art, but these handwoven bedcoverings were practical and prized textiles in early 18^th century homes. This presentation will introduce the audience to antique coverlets and tell the stories of several coverlet weavers who worked in north central Maryland.
