Join author M.K. Sholund for a hands-on writing session exploring the power of writing prompts. After a brief introduction, M.K. will show and tell how prompts can help build a consistent writing routine, strengthen your craft, spark ideas for new stories including publishable short fiction (like those in Pen in Hand), and overcome writer’s block. Using prompts from her book, 150+ Prompts: A Creative Writer’s Journal, together we'll have a 15–20 minute writing sprint, followed by an optional share-and-discuss session to reflect on your process and inspiration. Open to non-fiction and fiction writers—whether you’re just starting out or have several books under your belt.
