Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a special presentation from voice coach expert, Hannah Young.  This workshop is designed specifically to help educate young people on how to find their authentic voice. Learn about vocal anatomy, the importance of the breath, clear and concise speech, and learn about vocal fillers (“um, uh, like, just…”) that need to be dropped from vocabulary in order to effectively communicate with others in their world.

Presenter Bio:  Hannah Young focuses on forming connections through the human voice.  All vocal vibration is a form of communication, be it humming, shouting, public speaking or singing. She attended Indiana University's School of Music, graduating with a degree in Vocal Performance and Arts Administration before serving as a grant writer at The Kennedy Center for the Arts and The Shakespeare Theatre Company.  As an experienced musical theatre performer, voice teacher, speech coach and yoga instructor, her highest goal is to help others express themselves by getting to know their vocal instrument.
