Amanda Venable Kramer and Kari Saavedra, of Rose Hill Manor Park and Museums, the retirement home of Thomas Johnson (1732-1819), the first elected Governor of Maryland, will discuss their research on the Johnson Family and its connections to Zion Church and the Urbana area. The Johnsons were prominent Frederick County landowners during the 18th century. This is the inaugural program in the “Zion Church and Cemetery History Speaker Series”. Zion is a property of Frederick County Landmarks Foundation. Program Partners: Rose Hill Manor and FCPL Maryland Room.
