Kinetic Creatures: Innovative & Accessible STEAM Family Program with LBPH & FutureMakers (Ages 5-10)

Kinetic Creatures - Explore how an interconnected series of levers can be combined to make a creature that grows and shrinks! Use simple hand tools to connect and build with wood, common fasteners, and craft materials. In this increasingly technological world, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) skills are key to every child's success. The Maryland State Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and FutureMakers invite families to play and learn with us as we present an hour of fun, innovative, and accessible STEAM materials modified for children with print impairments. This event is open to all families with children from ages 5-10.
