Holiday Closing - Thanksgiving

Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

Protecting the Emmitsburg community from fire dates back to 1757. Join local firefighters as they share a historical perspective of firefighting in Frederick County, and lead visitors on a tour of the fire station and fire museum.
