Offsite: Wills, Advance Directives, and Power of Attorney Forms

Join us at the Thurmont Senior Center with Maryland Legal Aid, a nonprofit organization that provides free civil legal services to low/no-income individuals. This presentation will address the importance of using legal documents to plan one’s future.  Specifically, the presentation will go over wills, advance directives, and power of attorney forms – what they are, how they can be filled out, and what needs to be done once the paperwork is completed.  This presentation will last for one (1) hour and be followed by a Q&A session regarding general drafting questions.  Form samples will be available for those interested in drafting their own documents.
