Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Pour a cup of coffee and settle in for Tina Workman, HR Manager with Shepherd Staff In Home Care presenting a workshop on Anticipatory Grief that delves into the emotional landscape of grief before loss, offering insights and coping strategies for this challenging experience. Through interactive discussions and activities, participants will learn how to identify anticipatory grief, validate their feelings, and develop resilience in preparation for the future loss.

This program is in conjunction with the 2024 One Maryland, One Book statewide reading event. Pick up a FREE copy of What Storm, What Thunder by Myriam J.A. Chancy at the Emmitsburg Library.
