An opportunity to learn about the North County Recovering Identity Project, the study that changed how northern Frederick County's African American history is perceived and studied. Sponsored by the Frederick Historic Sites Consortium, the Catoctin Furnace Historical Society, Frederick County Parks and Recreation, and the FCPL Maryland Room.

Presenters will include researchers from the project: Edie Wallace, John Murphey, Elizabeth Comer, Ben Fischler, and Rob Wanner.

Following this program, the Catoctin Furnace Historical Society (CFHS) will be sponsoring a guided bus tour of North County sites from 1-4:30pm.
