Holiday Closing - Thanksgiving

Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

The National Institute of Health team will guide kids through different professions within the engineering realm and provide hands-on examples of possible creations. Learn how Civil Engineers design, build, inspect/maintain private structures and systems (roads, building, dams, etc.) and be challenged to build the tallest and secure tower out of paper, straws, tape and index cards. Explore Mechanical Engineering through creating an art bot a robot equipped to draw with markers.
