The Thurmont Regional Library is opening a Seed Library! To kick things off, we are hosting a seed swap & drop. Stop in and exchange seeds for seeds with savers and gardeners in the community. No seeds? Future home gardener? Stop in and check out a few seeds from our new seed lending library to get yourself started!
We are also kindly soliciting any seed donations! Heirloom or hybrid, home harvested or commercially packaged. Even open packages! Any type or variety of seeds that have been stored in a cool dry place can be sorted by our staff and put into circulation. Please store any donations in a bag with the name and growing information.
