Together, Dancing Bear Toys & Gifts and Frederick County Public Libraries host a play-a-thon fundraiser to benefit the Library's Greatest Need Fund. Learning through play is paramount for children. This type of learning facilitates school readiness skills. Visit Dancing Bear Toys & Gifts, 15 E. Patrick St., Frederick, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Each hour will feature learning themes, fun toys, and free activities: 11 a.m.: Music & Movement 12 p.m.: Math & Matching 1 p.m.: Brian Builders 2 p.m.: Imagination & Innovation, plus free Rita's Ice! 3 p.m.: Nature & Nurture with animals from Fountain Rock Nature Center
