On-site at Dancing Bear: Play-a-thon (Ages 0-10)

Together, Dancing Bear Toys & Gifts and Frederick County Public Libraries host a play-a-thon fundraiser to benefit the Library's Greatest Need Fund. Learning through play is paramount for children. This type of learning facilitates school readiness skills. Visit Summer Challenge sponsor Dancing Bear Toys & Gifts, 15 E. Patrick St., Frederick, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Each hour will feature learning themes, fun toys, and free activities: 11 a.m.: Sing. Frederick Children's Chorus Sing Along followed by ukulele fun with Mr. Tom. 12 p.m.: Talk. Live Storytime with the Maryland Ensemble Theater. 12:30 p.m.: Read & Write. Storytime and book signing with Mirabelle and her Happy Dog Adventures. 1:30 p.m.: Play. A building contest, stomp rockets, and more. 2:30 p.m.: Imagine. Exercise your imagination at mindful storytime and Yoga for Kids with Sol Yoga.
