Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

This is a fun, outdoor seminar with Western Maryland K9 Search and Rescue to talk about safety while exploring the outdoors this summer. Join a K9 dog and their human to talk about what to do if you or a loved one becomes lost or injured while out in nature, as well as give some insight into how Search and Rescue teams work.

Meet at the C & O Canal towpath.
