Survivor Speakers: A Discussion with Heartly House

On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men. Often domestic abuse, human trafficking, and sexual abuse hide in plain sight. Heartly House, located in Frederick County, works to end the cycle of abuse while providing victims with safety, shelter, and supportive services. 

Join us for an inspirational afternoon of discussion. While here, you'll meet Stephanie, Janet, and Joe, three unique individuals who survived various forms of abuse and desire to provide others with the inspiration to reclaim their self-worthy and dignity.
