Author Ame Dyckman will join us to talk about her magical books and characters.
Ame Dyckman is a New York Times bestselling, award-winning, internationally translated children’s author. Her fun and fabulous picture books include You Don’t Want a Unicorn and You Don’t Want a Dragon. This summer her new picture book, Tiny Barbarian, will be published. When she’s not writing picture books, Dyckman hula hoops and puts coins in people’s parking meters. She lives in New Jersey with her family and pets: black cats, hermit crabs, fish, and a demanding-but-adorable squirrel named Willie.
