Miyeok-guk, known in English as Seaweed soup, is a traditional food commonly eaten by new mothers to help them recover from childbirth. Because of this, it has become commonly known as Birthday Soup and is eaten each year as part of a birthday celebration. This program will include ingredients, preparation, and side dishes to make this delicious dish. This program is offered in conjunction with One Maryland One Book. Visit FCPL's Facebook page to attend this program.
