Holiday Closing - Thanksgiving

Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Event Details

In celebration of Read Across Maryland, library staff visit Pediatric Eyes and Smiles (PEAS) in Urbana, MD, to learn about children's eye health and its important connection to reading. We meet pediatric optometrist Dr. Wong and her patient, Emma, who receives her first eye exam.
