Hear ye, hear ye! Come one, come all to the Walkersville Renaissance Faire! Featuring timeless activities, vendors, and fun!

Ready to go medieval? WicSaga is a reenactment and living history group which currently focuses on representing various cultures during the Early Medieval/Viking Age and Late Antiquity. Join them for their Combat and Magic demonstrations at 1:30 and 2:30, and a Medicine & Food program at 2:00.

Revel in awe as you listen to the serene sounds of the Hood Chamber Singers performing at 1:00 and watch demonstrations by Round Table Fencing throughout the program.

Want to learn about local historical figures? Bill Moran was born in Frederick, Maryland and is considered the father of the modern knife forging movement. He is credited with reintroducing the ancient process of making Damascus steel. Check out a display of Bill’s knives and blades and learn about the blade-making process.

Feeling peckish? Feast on the goodies from Cookin' with Greece! Their food truck will be serving at our branch from 12-3 p.m. Please check their website for menu details and pricing.
