While summer is here, enjoy a free lunch! Lunches available for carry-out or curbside pick-up for youth ages 0-18.
 Funds provided by Glade Valley Community Services and the Town of Walkersville.

Songs, stories, and fun for preschoolers and their grownups. Designed for ages 3-5 with a caregiver. In the event of inclement weather, storytime will be held inside.

Young learners can practice skills they will need for school - listening, asking, writing, cutting, tracing, and more.

Preschoolers and their caregivers will practice school-readiness skills with cutting, tracing, play, and other literacy activities.

This summer, free lunches will be available from Tuesday through Thursday for youths 18 and under.  Lunch may be picked up between 12 and 1pm, while supplies last, and may be carried out or enjoyed on the library's covered deck.  

The City of Frederick will visit us serve lunches for children and teens (under 18) each afternoon this summer from 12:15-1:00 pm. Lunch will be served June 5-August 18 (lunches will not be served on June 19 & July 4).

Geared for kids 8-12 years old, we'll learn how to draw magical and cute animals and more.

We sing age appropriate folk songs, explore new languages, dance and learn rhythm patterns in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. We use scarves and small instruments and encourage parent participation!

Teens and Adults are invited to make Tiny Terrariums with a succulent inside! Supplies provided!

This is a fun, introductory program for elementary aged children who want to learn how to sing and find out what singing lessons are all about.

Join us for a fun night battling it out with Mario Kart on Nintendo switch!  

Children can learn and explore using STEAM-based activities. Caregivers are encouraged to connect with children and participate in the activities! Designed for elementary students in grades K-5.
