Join us for a morning of building! Use the library's blocks and building toys to build with your little one while working on fine motor skills! For ages 0-5 with a caregiver.

Young learners can practice skills they will need for school - listening, asking, writing, cutting, tracing, and more. Designed for ages 2-5 with a caregiver.

Preschoolers and their caregivers will practice school-readiness skills with cutting, tracing, play, and other literacy activities.

While supplies last, lunches are available for youth ages 0-18.
 Funds provided by Glade Valley Community Services and the Town of Walkersville.

The City of Frederick will visit us serve lunches for children and teens (under 18) each afternoon this summer from 12:15-1:00 pm. Lunch will be served June 13 -August 19 (lunches will not be served on June 19 & July 4).

Run away and join the circus without leaving home! Join former Ringling Brothers performer and professional knucklehead Gregory May as he builds his own wacky circus show.

Participate in a variety of experiences related to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.  This program is designed for children in grades K - 5 and their caregivers.

Create pixel art using small wooden craft blocks, just like Minecraft! You’ll glue the blocks together to form characters, objects, or scenes, and then paint them!

Looking for a fun way to spend some free time? Kick back, relax and enjoy the show! This is the perfect opportunity to relax, hang out, and make new friends in a creative and friendly environment! And also, snacks!

Join us at the library to welcome the new Thurmont Middle School principal, Paul Fer! This meet and greet is a chance for students and families to ask questions, share ideas, and get to know the new leader of Thurmont Middle School.
