Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Join us for an outside family storytime. Enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, and more! Ages 0-5. Consider bringing a blanket for sitting on the ground. Storytime will move inside in the event of bad weather.
We've taken storytime outside where preschoolers and their caregivers will learn early literacy skills with fun songs, story telling, movement, and more. Don't forget a blanket for sitting on the ground.

Preshoolers and their caregivers will practice school-readiness skills with cutting, tracing, play, and other literacy activities.

Teen Library Council is an opportunity for teens to help steer the vision of teen programming at their library branch. Each month we have a guest speaker, free snacks, and teens receive double Service Learning Hours for attending.
A program dedicated to High Schoolers, especially juniors and seniors, that are exploring their post-graduation options, specifically outside of a 4 year university degree.
