Dive under the sea with us in this special outdoor storytime featuring books, rhymes, and songs about ocean animals! For ages 0 and up with a caregiver.
In case of inclement weather, this storytime will be moved indoors.
Enjoy a lively Storytime filled with music, movement.
Spend a morning in nature. Enjoy a nature-themed storytime followed by an easy, ranger-guided hike. Come dressed for the weather. Meet at gravel parking lot across from park visitor center - 14707 Park Central Road, Thurmont, MD.

In the case of inclement weather, storytime will be held at the Walkersville Branch Library.
While summer is here, enjoy a free lunch! Lunches available for carry-out or curbside pick-up for youth ages 0-18. Funds provided by Glade Valley Community Services and the Town of Walkersville.
The City of Frederick will visit us serve lunches for children and teens (under 18) each afternoon this summer from 12:15-1:00 pm. Lunch will be served June 5-August 18 (lunches will not be served on June 19 & July 4).
Make a fun tie-dye tote using sharpies! The bags provided are not ludicrously capacious, but they can still hold your summer gear! Totes available while supplies last! Feel free to bring your own item to tie-dye as well.
Wear your pajamas and bring your stuffed friend for a special storytime! After storytime, tuck in your stuffed animal and say goodnight because the stuffed animals are having a sleepover.
Join us for the ultimate summer athletic challenge! Work with your family and fellow adventurers to create a safe path to the goal line all while avoiding the floor, because remember--the floor is lava! For Grades K-5.
