Holiday Closing - Thanksgiving
Frederick County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27 and will remain closed on Thursday November 28, and Friday November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving.
Music, movement, stories, and more outdoors on the Library Plaza! Designed for ages 0 and up with a caregiver.
In case of inclement weather, this storytime will be moved indoors.

Introducing toddlers and their caregivers to a variety of preschool-readiness skills including fine motor development, social emotional skills, and early literacy activities.
This summer, free lunches will be available from Tuesday through Thursday for youths 18 and under. Lunch may be picked up between 12 and 1pm, while supplies last, and may be carried out or enjoyed on the library's covered deck.
The City of Frederick will visit us serve lunches for children and teens (under 18) each afternoon this summer from 12:15-1:00 pm. Lunch will be served June 5-August 18 (lunches will not be served on June 19 & July 4).
Pop on into the Urbana Regional Library for Bubble Science! In this messy and soapy program, we’ll teach children how to make their own bubble solution, bubble wands, and explain how bubbles form in a scientific way. For Grades K-5.
