Come learn about sports featured in the Winter Olympics and try the sport of Curling! (Ages 11-18) 

UNPLUGGED is a midweek mindfulness program for teens and tweens. It features low lighting, soft noise, and sensory tools. Each program features a different mindful activity to promote mental wellbeing. 

Create adorable, squishy snow friends that never melt by using socks, rice, and a few fun decorations. It’s a cozy craft that’s perfect for winter fun!

You are invited "Into the Woods," our new window art theme for 2026 at the Point of Rocks library. In this workshop, we will be making trees for our enchanted forest and miniature woodland creatures.

Can you control a video game with a bannana? How about a jar, or your friend? Find out in this month's STEAM Space, where you'll use Makey Makey toys to learn about conductivity and game design!

Use our hot glue guns and paints to create your very own masterpiece of art on a canvas!

Spend the first Thursday of the month with a game of chess! Open to all levels of chess players, bring your own chess set or use one of ours. Bring your friends and meet other chess enthusiasts. Ages 9-18. 

Learn how to make your own stickers using common household items! This program will be held in our Teen Zone.

Come join us for Young Homesteaders, a three-part hands-on series where youth ages 8–13 will learn the basics of sustainable living, live gardening and more.

A casual craft session where tweens can make Perler Bead Art with a variety of patterns available.  Perler beads are plastic fuse beads that you place on a grid and melt together.

Turn simple paper tubes into beautiful winter art! You’ll cut, shape, and decorate recycled paper tubes to create dazzling snowflakes that are as unique as the real ones.

Join us for Dungeons & Dragons! Play through an exciting campaign DMed by one of our library teens. To sign up for DM slot, contact the librarian. Beginners arrive 15 minutes early for character creation.
