Spend your summer Tuesday afternoons with us. Make out of this world art, all supplies provided by the library. Program for teens and tweens to start a new work of art or bring a work in progress! Suitable for teens in grades 6-12.

The City of Frederick will visit us serve lunches for children and teens (under 18) each afternoon this summer from 12:15-1:00 pm. Lunch will be served June 10 -August 16 (lunches will not be served on June 19 & July 4).

Do you have what it takes to master the teen challenge activity? Test your paper airplane making skills against our wind tunnel and find out! While supplies last. Suitable for ages 11-17.

Calling all Tweens! Bring a friend and a favorite board game for an afternoon of fun. We will also have several board games available. Learn about a new game or enjoy a favorite game! Designed for students in 3rd through 7th grades.

Stop in and create during this relaxed open craft hour!

Learn about local creatures and mysteries of Frederick County and Maryland, such as the Snallygaster and Dwayyo, then create your own through art or writing! 

Join us for engaging hands-on STEAM projects! Learn about cryptography, the art (and math!) of creating codes and hidden messages!

Geared for grades 3-8 (ages 9-13).  Activities while supplies last. 

New to anime and manga? A long time fan? Join us to discuss your favorite series, learn a little about Japan, and enjoy watching a show or two! 

Grades 4-7. Learn the beginner basics of knitting and crocheting or bring your own projects to join in the crafting. All skill levels welcome. Materials will be provided.

The escape room experience is coming to the library! Use your collective wits and skills to search for clues, solve puzzles, crack codes, and unravel riddles.

This program will be held in the library parking lot.

Freedom Bang is a pre-choreographed fusion of boxing, HIIT, hip hop, world dance, optional weighted gloves and just a touch of attitude. Offering a wide range of intensity options to help you customize your workout.

Have you ever gotten the impression that a character was strong but also scary, heroic but somehow hapless, from just one glance? This happened because an artist designed a successful character.

Make 3-dimensional wall art using upcycled CD’s and yarn! Create an array of patterns and colors to produce your own unique piece. 

Love to sing or interested in learning some technique? This program will build on last week’s Singing 101 for Teens with Renee’s Music Studio.

Magician Anthony Ware brings dazzling magic and zany humor to this high-energy show! Ware is a veteran of the United States Army who discovered his passion for magic while serving his country.
