Join the staff of the Thurmont and Emmitsburg Libraries for a pop-up to celebrate Spring on the Mount Saint Mary's campus. Library staff will visit the quad with plenty of materials for checkout, as well as some fun games!

Welcome spring at the library! Join us for the afternoon and create your own unique flower crowns! For ages 11-18. All activities while supplies last.

This program is for children in elementary school as well as teens (ages 5-18).

Join us to make three easy no-bake recipes for a spring picnic or tea party! We will make a mocktail, appetizer, and dessert that require no baking. Teens and adults welcome, recommended for ages 13+.

Love anime and manga? Come talk with fellow fans about your all time favs and newest obsessions, and then watch a show chosen by club members!

Join us for an hour of Nintendo Switch fun! 

Join us to create handmade bookmarks for residents at local assisted living facilities. Use your creativity to design and decorate bookmarks that will bring a smile to someone's face. Earn volunteer hours while making a difference!

Spend your Tuesday afternoons with us. Take time to create art, all supplies provided by the library. Program for teens and tweens to start a new work of art or bring a work in progress! For teens in grades 6-12.

Spring is for Planting!  Come learn how to properly plant cool season vegetables into the garden.  This hands-on activity will take place in the Library Garden which is next door to the library along Cedar Avenue.

Join us as Middletown's Teen Leadership Council meets. Tweens and teens, grades 6 through 12, meet to collaborate with each other and teen librarians on upcoming library events and to plan teen-led projects.

Join us for Dungeons & Dragons! Play through an exciting campaign DMed by one of our library teens. To sign up for DM slot, contact the librarian. Beginners arrive 15 minutes early for character creation.

Spend the first Thursday of the month with a game of Chess! Open to all levels of chess players, bring your own chess set or use one of ours. Bring your friends and meet other chess enthusiasts. Ages 9-18.
