Need a valentine card for someone special? Bring your creativity and design a heartfelt card for that special person. We’ll provide colorful paper, markers, stickers, and other fun embellishments—you bring your imagination.

In this workshop, we're going to look at the same image and then develop a scene with at least one character, both inspired by the image. What emotions does the picture make you feel? What kind of character would exist in this make believe space?

Come play pretend with us! For one morning, the children’s area of the library will be transformed into a child-sized town. Use your imagination as you shop at a market, bake some pretend cookies, deliver some mail and more!

This program is developed for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. It's a Valentine extravaganza! Join us for a sensory friendly dance party with Valentine's Day themed crafts and activities. 

Bring your imagination — we’ll supply the materials! From painting and collage to paper engineering and DIY crafts, kids will explore their artistic side and take home something awesome each time.

Tired of reading history books? Try making a piece of history instead! Create an Orihon, a precursor to the modern book, and learn about its origins and use.

Masquerade! Painted faces on parade! Join us to create your own unique masquerade mask, while supplies last. For ages 11-18

Come chill in the Teen Zone and work on needlefelting projects with other teens! We will provide the necessary supplies. If you don't know how to felt, we will show you!

This program is intended for teens in grades 6-12 (age 11-18)

Stop by  after school and let your creativity bloom. Various art supplies with be on hand to create and make. You can take your projects home or leave them for display in our teen department.
