A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

Is your child interested in learning how to care for a garden? Look no further! Join us for a fun morning of exploring, creating, and learning how to care for plants and gardens at the Emmitsburg Library. Ages 0-12. 

Movement, music, stories and fun for the whole family. Designed for ages 0 and up with a caregiver.

Participate in a variety of experiences related to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.  This program is designed for children in grades K - 5 and their caregivers.

Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles....let's play with puzzles! Join us as we have fun doing different projects using puzzle pieces.  There is no limit to the creative way puzzle pieces can be used. Geared for elementary ages.

Join us for a variety of science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities for elementary-aged children.

Create a scrapbook for storing your summer memories.

This program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grades (ages 5-10).

Discover and explore the world around you through science, math, technology, history, art, and literature. Designed for kids in grades K-5.

Get creative and turn old CDs into amazing works of art! 

Join other young adventurers doing trivia, making crafts, and playing games, while we prepare our next epic Kid Quest Role Playing Game storyline for the fall.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Spring has sprung and what better way to celebrate than with your very own Sharpie Tie Dye Pillowcase (perfect for summer day naps and picnics)! Get your art on and see what you can create! All materials provided while supplies last.

Spring is here and the fae have come out to play! Create your own fairy house, using recycled and natural materials.

Create a mason jar light to take home and display in your room or outside on the deck. We will provide the jar, battery operated lights and lots of decorative items to make your own unique creation.

Join the Chronicles of Yarnia group for casual craft time! This is a group for those who would like to gather for a social time of crafting together. Instruction will be provided to new learners.

Join us for an all-ages storytime after a long day of work and play. Unwind with stories, songs, and rhymes for the whole family!
