A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

As part of the Christmas in Thurmont celebration, children are welcome to drop in the library for a fun Christmas themed craft. 

Celebrate the holiday season at the library! Browse vendors at the holiday market, create a craft, enjoy a scavenger hunt, meet St. Nick (at 11:00AM), and have storytime with Mrs. Claus (at 12:00PM)!

Enjoy a guinea pig-themed storytime then meet guinea pigs from Jenn's Uncommon Critters! This program is designed for children ages 0-10 with a caregiver.

Practice reading skills to patient and adorable Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.). For Children Grades K-5. 

Calling all aspiring music makers! Learn about music theory and history through rhythmic and melodic exercises, games, and activities! Age Group: Elementary.

This special holiday storytime will include narrated scenes performed by dancers from Leading Edge Academy of Dance in costume, featuring Clara’s dream sequence, the elegant Arabian Dance, and the playful Candy Cane Dance.
