Stop the Bleed Emergency Training - An Adult Adaptive Program

Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding from an injury such as a car crash, a gunshot, or an accidental wound can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. That’s why the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center’s Center for Injury Prevention & Policy offers life-saving bleeding control training through STOP THE BLEED®.

In this course, attendees will learn three quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out. These three techniques will empower you to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life.

This program is intended for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers.
