Own Your Awesome! (ages 9-13)

Growing up brings lots of changes, and it can be hard to navigate. Decorate and take home a personalized self-esteem box filled with affirmations and attributes of who you want to be! In this workshop, youth also will learn about healthy friendships, what it means to respect themselves, and how to build confidence from within. Through fun activities and discussions, they will explore the kind of friendships they want in the future while growing their self-esteem and communication skills.  Craft activity while supplies last. 

In partnership with Heartly House: Project H.E.A.R.T.S. presents workshops to schools throughout Frederick County teaching healthy relationships. We aim to empower youth to find their voice and support each other in authentic friendships.
