Lunches are provided by Helping Hands and Caring Hearts, a local nonproft.

A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

Is your child interested in learning how to care for a garden? Look no further! Join us for a fun morning of exploring, creating, and learning how to care for plants and gardens at the Emmitsburg Library. Ages 0-12.

Explore the natural wonder of ThorpeWood! Reconnect with nature while you visit the horses, goats, cows, and chickens, get dirty in the mud kitchen, take a tractor ride, and enjoy a nature scavenger hunt on this beautiful 156-acre farm.

Movement, music, stories and fun for the whole family. Designed for ages 0 and up with a caregiver.

Enjoy a storytime, craft, or other fun activity with the whole family.

Practice reading to a furry friend with Wags for Hope. This program is designed for children ages 0-10.

Get ready for a wild and wonderful time with our live animal program — a fun and exciting way to learn about alpacas! In this hands-on program, kids get to: Meet real alpacas!

Indoor live animal program. Explore the radical world of reptiles with Nicole and her exotic pets!

Participate in a variety of experiences related to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.  This program is designed for children in grades K - 5 and their caregivers.

The folks at i9 Sports will be leading us in a fun obstacle course that improves our gross motor skills.

Join Mr. Chris at the library this summer for “Color Our World” – a movement-filled adventure! This year’s program features 10 exciting PE-style stations, including rolling, underhand and overhand tossing, an obstacle course, and much more!

Get creative with sidewalk chalk at the library! Kids of all ages can draw, doodle, and design colorful masterpieces. Join us for a fun, outdoor art adventure—bring your imagination and let’s chalk it up! For Grades K-5.

Join the Chronicles of Yarnia group for casual craft time! This is a group for those who would like to gather for a social time of crafting together. Instruction will be provided to new learners.

Join us for an all-ages storytime after a long day of work and play. Unwind with stories, songs, and rhymes for the whole family!
