While supplies last, lunches are available for youth ages 0-18 each Tuesday June 17 -August 11.
Lunches are provided by Helping Hands and Caring Hearts, a local nonproft.

A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

Is your child interested in learning how to care for a garden? Look no further! Join us for a fun morning of exploring, creating, and learning how to care for plants and gardens at the Emmitsburg Library. Ages 0-12.

Enjoy a storytime, craft, or other fun activity with the whole family.

The City of Frederick will visit us serve lunches for children and teens (under 18) each afternoon this summer from 12:15-1:00 pm. Lunch will be served June 13 -August 19 (lunches will not be served on June 19 & July 4).

Storytime is moving and grooving at Walkersville Community Park at 22 Kenneth Drive Walkersville, MD 21793. 

Participate in an action-packed set of activities that enhance summer reading at the library.

We sing age appropriate folk songs, explore new languages, dance and learn rhythm patterns in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. We use scarves and small instruments and encourage parent participation!

Ever wanted to see what goes on behind the scenes of your local art center? Then come with us as we travel down Carroll Creek to visit our Summer Challenge Partner, The Delaplaine Arts Center!

Drop in for a hands-on STEM Lab or STEAM Lab opportunity. This program is designed for children in grades K-5 and their caregiver.

Celebrate Pride Month by making fun and colorful crafts that represent who you are. From phone charms to earrings and bracelets, we’ll have all the supplies you need to create something as fun and unique as you are!

Unleash your creativity through fun, hands-on art activities! Kids will explore colorful materials and make their own unique masterpieces inspired by a surprise theme. Let your imagination run wild! Geared for elementary ages.

Choose an animal and build a diorama of a habitat to meet its needs.

This program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grades (ages 5-10).

Looking for a fun way to spend some free time? Let's get creative with poetry! Hang out, make some poetry, and make new friends in a creative and friendly environment! And also, snacks!

Join us for a special ice cream storytime at Sweet Babe's Creamery. Filled with sweet stories, cool songs, and a special visit from a surprise guest, this storytime will be a treat for all ages! Geared for ages 0-5 with a caregiver. 

Join us for an all-ages storytime featuring songs, stories, and rhymes in Spanish and other world languages.
