Lunches are provided by Helping Hands and Caring Hearts, a local nonproft.

A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

Is your child interested in learning how to care for a garden? Look no further! Join us for a fun morning of exploring, creating, and learning how to care for plants and gardens at the Emmitsburg Library. Ages 0-12.

Explore the radical world of reptiles with Nicole and her exotic pets! Not only will participants learn all about what makes a reptile a reptile, they will have the opportunity to pet and interact with lots of animal friends!

Our speaker will be Shawn Snyder from Animal Control. We will also make dog toys and treats to donate to the Animal Control Shelter.

Enjoy a storytime, craft, or other fun activity with the whole family.

Practice reading skills to patient and adorable Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.). For Children Grades K-5. 

Get ready to scale up the fun at the library! Join us for Awesome Animals with Fountain Rock, an animal-packed adventure where kids can learn all about fascinating creatures — and even meet some in person!

Play testing in-progress tabletop game designs with the designers to give feedback and have fun.

Sphero indi loves the library but would really love to learn more about the world outside of the library. We'll learn about and create maps for Sphero indi to drive around and get to know places outside of the library.

This book club is designed to build on the excitement of emergent readers with different books and related activities to enjoy with their peers.

Join FIT4MOM Frederick for a fun and energizing free class at the library where caregivers can learn how to make movement a natural and enjoyable part of everyday life!

Join us for an afternoon of Minecraft creation. This program is for elementary age children who are ready to have fun crafting a world together. Never played, no problem, staff will be on hand to help with the basics.

In recognition of Pixar's new release, Elio, join us for a celebration of all things Pixar! We will have a variety of games, crafts, and trivia related to Pixar movies.

Join us for an all-ages storytime after a long day of work and play. Unwind with stories, songs, and rhymes for the whole family!

Explore the radical world of reptiles outdoors on the Library Plaza with Nicole and her exotic pets!

Join us for bedtime themed songs and stories--pajamas are welcome!

Join us in our library garden and meet Frederick County Children's Author, Ashley DeCapua! She'll read her book, I Woofn't Do That, talk about her writing journey, and answer questions about writing!

Come share a story with a specially trained therapy dog from WAGS for Hope!

Love to sing or want to develop your vocal skills? Join us for a fun and engaging program designed to introduce the fundamentals of singing in a relaxed yet structured setting.

Join Go Team Therapy Dogs to improve your reading confidence and make a new friend when you read aloud to a therapy dog.

This event is located at 9023 Harris Street, Frederick, MD 21704, a few blocks away from the Urbana Regional Library.
